CWHI is proud to announce an additional award by Saipem S.p.A for the manufacture and supply of approximately 6,000 metric tons of steel products for the North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) Offshore and Pipelines “EPCOL” Project.

CWHI’s scope of work included the supply and fabrication of approximately 6,000 metric tons of Jacket steel including legs, bracing and piles. The fabrication was carried out via our yards in Hefei and Zhongshan and shipped to site in April, 2024.

The Offshore and Pipelines Project (EPCOL) encompasses surface facility expansion to the multiple existing ventures within QatarEnergy LNG, with a wide footprint i.e. offshore fixed facilities, subsea cables, subsea pipelines, onshore pipelines and tie-in to the existing slug catchers located in the Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC). Project objective is to sustain the QatarEnergy LNG North Field Production Plateau, is part of the NFPS Offshore Compression development that encompasses the installation of new assets in Qatar’s North Field, including compression complexes at a number of locations to sustain gas supply to the existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) production trains.
