Qinzhou Yard following completion of the Phase II expansion
CWHI is thrilled to announce completion of its Qinzhou Yard facility in Guangxi, China, now one of the world’s largest and most advanced, state-of-the-art XXXL Mono-pile manufacturing facilities in operation today.
The new facility has an impressive annual production capacity of 100 XXXL Mono-piles, each with a maximum diameter of 15 meters and a weight of up to 4,500 tons. This capacity is supported by eight advanced offshore wind power XXXL Mono-pile foundation production lines, housed within one of the largest steel structure workshops in China.

A key feature of the Phase II expansion is the addition of a second structural workshop, measuring 400 meters in length, 54 meters in width, and standing 34 meters tall. The facility now spans a total area of 600,000m² and includes a 307-meter-long, 13-meter-deep quayside capable of accommodating vessels up to 100,000 tons, with a load-bearing capacity of 20T/m². Additionally, several dedicated full-length Blasting and Painting workshops were introduced during the Phase II development where Mono-piles are coated and stored before loading.
Additionally, we're proud to announce the installation of 7,500 solar panels, generating 4MW of clean energy across our two production halls. This significant investment in renewable energy will cover nearly 20% of the facility's total electricity consumption, reducing our reliance on conventional power sources and lowering our carbon footprint. To further our commitment to sustainability, the Yard's remaining energy needs will be met through a long-term agreement to procure 26 MWh of green electricity from a combination of photovoltaic sources and a local offshore wind farm.
This strategic approach enables our facility to run entirely on renewable energy, underscoring our commitment to environmental stewardship and playing a vital role in the global shift toward a more sustainable future—all while upholding the highest standards of quality and service. This initiative reflects our continuous efforts to foster positive environmental impact and support the industry's drive for greener, more sustainable supply chains.
Qinzhou Yard will operate fully on renewable energy sources
